Dr. Kamran Shaikh DDS, MS, received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. He did a hospital-based residency at the University of Louisville. Then, he performed general dentistry for around two years before returning to the University of Louisville to pursue orthodontics.

Dr. Sheikh completed his graduation in 2002 and worked at a health center in Laredo, Texas. During his time in Laredo, he came to the realization that many of his patients were in financial distress.
